French 1934 Soda Syphon with Original Contents

A striking vintage French soda syphon, dated 1934, complete with its original contents. The thick glass vessel is etched with A. Christina Cauderan, and the metal cap mechanism bears the stamp Noël & Tronche Cauderan G. Gonzales & Cie, along with the date. Some of the stamping is worn, consistent with its age.

The original internal glass tube is still present and intact. There is a crack within the neck of the vessel—likely from overtightening during refilling—but it appears to be internal only and cannot be felt on the exterior. The glass itself is notably thick and in generally good condition, with expected age-related scuffing to the base, surface scratches, and some light discoloration.

Please note: This syphon has not been tested and is not recommended for functional use—it is sold as a decorative or collector’s item.

Dimensions: 30cm (H) x 9cm (Base Diameter)

An evocative and substantial piece of early 20th-century French barware—ideal for display or collectors of soda syphons and vintage kitchenalia.
