Victorian Stoneware Jam Pot

A charming Victorian stoneware jam pot in a lovely soft, neutral cream glaze. Simple and beautifully understated, with the timeworn character that makes these old utilitarian pieces so appealing.

A wonderfully useful little pot for the kitchen, desk or garden room – perfect for wooden spoons or cutlery, pens and pencils, artist’s brushes, or simply filled with a loose bunch of garden flowers.

Available in two sizes, including this sweet smaller version which is particularly lovely for a little posy of flowers, pencils or artist’s brushes.

Each pot has its own individual character, with historical marks, wear and small nibbles from years of use, all adding to its authentic rustic charm. As these are old, handmade jars, slight variations in shape, glaze, colour and size are to be expected, making each one unique.

Why did I source this?

I do not have a specific style. Instead, I buy an eclectic mix of what catches my interest. I appreciate the workmanship and quality in antique and vintage items. Every item speak to you, making you wonder about their past, and who cared for them before you.
