A lovely vintage Satsuma bowl in an unusual softly squared, rounded form, raised on a low pedestal base. Decorated in rich autumnal tones with touches of gilt, complemented by a beautiful crackle glaze that gives the piece an aged and wonderfully tactile finish.
A good, weighty bowl with plenty of presence, perfect for bringing a touch of oriental character to a country house interior. Equally lovely displayed on its own or filled with seasonal treasures.
