Lustre ware plates

A charming pair of vintage Allertons Ltd lustre ware side plates in the "Dahlia" pattern, also known as Welsh Gaudy. Featuring beautifully hand-painted floral decoration in soft pink tones and finished with attractive copper lustre scalloped rims, these late Victorian plates make lovely decorative pieces or additions to a collection.
Presented in fair condition for their age, both plates display age-related crazing to the glaze, with one plate having a couple of areas of discolouration consistent with over a century of use and display.
