Hussar Journal 1951, 52, 53

3 Xl Hussar Journals from 1951,52 and 53. These regimental Journals are an interesting insite into life in the Hussar's in the National service years. There is a mention of the Gloucestershire Hussars which are disbanded. The books have a number of photos and listings of who were in the the regiments in this time.
These books have been well thumbed so are a little tatty in places, and the 1951 has had some pencil scribble on one photo and pencil written in the back.
These are for me a lovely snap shot of time in military history, my own father was in the R.E.M.E and was attached to the Queens Own Hussars and these journals were lovely for him to chat to me about his time and experiences with the regiment.
