French Deco soup plates
A beautiful set of six French Art Deco soup plates, believed to be by Sarreguemines Digoin in the sought-after "Denise" pattern. Crafted from traditional French earthenware, known as faience pottery, the plates feature a striking pinky-red geometric Deco design that brings timeless French charm to the table.
The set is in good vintage condition, with one or two plates showing some age-related crazing to the glaze and the occasional tiny nibble to the rims, all of which are barely noticeable and do not detract from their overall appeal.
Perfectly sized for soups, salads, pasta and rice dishes, they are equally suited to serving contemporary favourites such as Buddha bowls.
Diameter: 23cm.
