Beautifully hand carved wooden case containing a little set of scales. The case swivels open and has a brass clasp to keep it closed. The design is of two elephants facing each other, inside the shape is carved to house the little hand scales each pan is a brass coloured metal and are held by a green thread, to a swinging pointer fot the scale. Lovely interesting piece believed to have some age and possibly made from ebony wood. Lenght 16cn width 9cm depth2cm
