French salt glazed pot

£10.00Price

French salt glazed earthenware pot with a handle. This would have been used to cook on open coals/fire,  evidence of which can been seen on the base. The potters signature can be seen on the underside of the pot, and the spout shows how it has been formed with the finger dents pulling it into shape, all adding to the tactile appeal of a hand made item. There are a couple of nibble on the back rim
