A delightful small Victorian ceramic jelly mould, featuring a beautifully wavy fluted edge and an attractive trefoil-style design to the base. Originally used for serving decorative jellies and desserts, these charming moulds are now prized for their sculptural form and decorative appeal.
The glaze has developed an all-over crazing, with warm brown discolouration within the crazing that has accumulated over many years, creating a rich patina that speaks to its age and history. There are also a couple of small chips to the rim, entirely consistent with a well-loved Victorian kitchen piece.
