An elegant antique French garniture featuring a beautifully modelled Alsatian in a relaxed laying pose. The dog is cast in spelter with a bronzed and gilded finish, resting upon a polished green marble base that complements the figure perfectly.
Dating from approximately 1900–1930, this decorative piece has all the charm of the Art Nouveau to early Art Deco period.
