Nenette, French chalk figure

Say hello to Nenette! This charming French chalk figure from the 1930s is full of character and vintage charm. She was originally part of a duo with her little partner Toto (a cheeky boy figure), but now she's holding her own just fine.
Standing proud at 29cm tall with a base of 7 x 8cm, Nenette strikes a confident "hands on hips" pose—like a determined little one who's not taking no for an answer. Honestly, it's kind of adorable.
Her name is neatly inscribed on the base, and you’ll find the registration marks on the back. A mysterious little 'J' has been scratched into the bottom—perhaps by her original owner? Adds a bit of intrigue!
Nenette is in great vintage condition—no chips or cracks. There are some age-related marks and a bit of discolouration (aka that lovely vintage ‘patina’), particularly a faint grey area on top of her head, which we believe hints at the stabilising structure beneath the chalk.
