Hand carved wooden bowl possibly Africa in origin. Interesting hand carved geometric design. Has some age and some historical wood worm marks, pictured. There has been a hole drilled in the top edge so it can be hung. A piece of string is in place to facilitate this. Lovely warm feel to the wood from the years of handling. Though circular is does have and irregularity to the to the edge which is typical of hand carving. lovely shallow bowl, perfect for fruit, pot pouri or whatever you fancy.
